Internet Connection Wizard 5

There are a few different ways to start the Internet Connection Wizard:

Method 1: Click the Start button, select Run. Enter inetwiz and click OK.

Method 2: Open the Control Panel, open Internet Options. Click the Connections tab. Click the Setup button. Note: If you don't see a Setup button, but you do see a Configure button, you probably have the Internet Connection Wizard 4 installed. Click here for instructions.

Select the option I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN). Click Next.

Uncheck Use dialing rules, and enter your Local Access Number into the Phone Number field. Click Next.

The number should be entered exactly as it needs to be dialed. For example, if you need to dial the area code enter the number as XXX XXX-XXXX, or if you need to dial 9 to get an outside line enter the number as 9, XXX-XXXX. Dashes (-) and spaces are not required.

Enter your username and password into the appropriate fields. Click Next.

Enter A Cute Internet for the connection name and click Next.

If you would like the Internet Connection Wizard to set up your email in Outlook Express, Select Yes and click Next.

Note: Select No if you plan on using a different email client, or if your email is already setup, and click Next, then Finish to complete the wizard.

Enter your name into the Display Name field, this is how it will appear when you send mail. Click Next.

Enter your email address and click Next.

Select POP3 for the Incoming mail server type. Enter your A Cute Internet mail servers into the Incoming mail and Outgoing mail server boxes. Click here for the list of A Cute Internet Mail servers.

Enter your email username and password into the Account Name and Password fields. Click Next.

Click Finish to complete the Internet Connection Wizard.

Help us help you! If you contact A Cute Internet support for assistance please write down any error messages you get when trying to connect to the Internet. Include the name and version of your operating system and the exact text of all error messages. If this information is included in an online case submission or provided to a support representative, it will greatly speed up the troubleshooting process.

Please be aware that some troubleshooting may require uninstallation and reinstallation of operating system files. To ensure that this type of troubleshooting can be accomplished if required, please be sure that you have to have original Operating System CD or Operating system source files on disk on hand.
